Here’s the skinny from Crestron on their new range of LED lighting fixtures…

[googlead]Crestron has announced the latest enhancements to their line of LEDs. The new, condensed range consisting of six fixtures is now available to order across the EMEA region.

All Crestron LEDs (CLEDs) replicate the smooth dimming curve, colour temperature and lumen output of traditional halogen fixtures, with a 70,000 hour lamp that exceeds most comparable low energy fittings.

Crestron Faceplate“The new condensed line of CLEDs came about from the feedback we noted from our dealers.” says Mark Tallent, International Product Manager for Crestron Lighting and Building Controls. “By condensing the range, we have simplified the line for authorised Crestron dealers whilst adding extra features and functionality. This makes it easier to select the right fixtures for their project.”

“All six fixtures are fire-rated as standard with an ingress protection of IP65 for the static versions of each model. We have also taken more attention to detail; improving paint finish, baffle quality, proportions and also reducing the need for a gold chamber in the extra warm white models.” Crestron has also designed a lower profile version for celling voids that have limited space; this cuts the overall height by almost 30%. The CLED range is designed to work with Crestron’s wider portfolio of lighting control modules, dimmers and switches. These components are all scalable to wider building management systems including AV, IT, HVAC and more.

The new range comprises of LED fittings for a variety of applications including fixed, tilt & rotate, square and discreet with a subtle surface mount installation. When combined with Crestron control equipment, each CLED replicates the smooth dimming curve of halogen lamps through 1-100%.
