In a fit of publicity that will turn Captain Cyborg green with envy, an American family have agreed to have unique serial numbers implanted in their bodies. The idea is that the implants can be scanned for medical and personal information, the usual critics have spouted the invasion of privacy and are a digital precursor to the Biblical Apocolypse.
The HA implications for this technology are obvious, and as it develops I would hope a few manufacturers take it onboard and develop something interesting for us all to play with.
