This little beauty from GSM Auto contains a mobile phone and two 30 amp relays. Using the supplied T-Mobile SIM – (or a different SIM of your choice), the unit will work world wide with its quad-band radio.
[googlead]Applications include remotely controlling heating in your holiday home, lighting, access control of gates and garage doors and a million and one other things you can think of.
The unit can opperate in open mode giving control to anyone that knows the number, or in secure mode where it will only respond to calls from the caller ID of pre-programmed numbers (up to 99 can be stored).
Programming is carried out via SMS and the unit can also be controlled by text message as well as sending texts back to confirm operations too. Watch the video below…
“The GSM-AUTO is a wireless gsm remote control switch that connects to the GSM cell phone network. It is activated by calling its cell phone number, it will reject the call without answering and switch on the device connected to it.
There are no call costs incurred when dialling the unit, it will recognise an authorised telephone number calling it and reject the call without answering.
It has 2 independent switches, these can be programmed to switch on for a pre-determined length of time whenever the GSM-AUTO is called, alternatively the switches can be permanently switched on or off by sending the GSM-AUTO a sms text message.”
