I’ve often joked with friends about motorised gun turrets in my Home Automation setup, but Vaughn Rupp has actually done it!
A combination of a CCTV PTZ (Pan Tilt Zoom) mount, a miniature CCTV camera to look along the barrel, all married to a Web interface allows Vaughn to connect to his home remotely and “discourage” unwanted visitors. This seems to be the Mk1 version with the promise of “bigger guns” to come in the next one. Watch the video…
