I’ve just received this from Chris Reed of Quantum Systems – “House of the Future – The BBC have made three forty-minute programmes on the house, covering the design, construction and landscaping. They have invited a family to live in the house and filmed their experience of living in an Automated House. The first programme will be aired on Friday 23rd 9.30 on BBC2 Wales. The automated element of the house is mostly X10 controlled by HAL2000 Voice Recognition software donated by Habitek and Smarta Systems.
The House for the Future is the result of a partnership between the National Museums & Galleries of Wales based in Cardiff and BBC Wales.”
