News from HomeSeer… “HomeSeer version 1.7 has been released. Some of the biggest changes include touch screen support via the new TouchPad plugin.

Other features include new multi-user support for the web server, the ability to create on-screen infrared controls, Z-Wave support, and much more. This update is free. For 1.6 users, simply select Updates from your HomeSeer Help menu to apply the update.”.
HomeSeerSE Released – If you are new to home control and want to get started with an easy to use system, then HomeSeerSE is for you. HomeSeerSE is available in kit form that includes all the software and hardware needed to start controlling and monitoring your home from the web. The system uses the new Z-Wave technology which is easy to install and operate. The kit is priced at only $199 and includes the following:
