    iPAQ ROM Upgrade

    The ROM upgrade for the iPAQ has just been released!
    Enhancements

    • Microsoft update to the Pocket PC operating system.
    • Enhanced USB/Serial Drivers for improving connection between the iPAQ and host PC.
    • Improved audio recording and playback.
    • Customized the default Homepage on Pocket IE.
    • Enhanced Icons…(Power, AGC, Autorun, Backup).
    • Enhanced Utility Menu.
    • Enhanced system performance with fixes to Qstart memory usage.
    • Enhanced screen performance in inking mode.
    • Reduced audio noise on system due to amplifier turning on and off.

    Fixes

    • Fixed Alarm volume to sound at the specified volume setting.
    • Fixed scroll lock issue in the Microsoft Reader.
    • Fixed Backlight Brightness setting to enhance power performance.
