Marmitek BoomBoom 430 Bluetooth Amp Puts Old Speakers Back to Work

    Table of Contents

Marmitek’s latest little black box may just get you up in the loft to bring down your old speakers and drag them into the 21st century.

The BoomBoom 430 is a palm sized box that combines a wireless Bluetooth receiver with a 2 x 40 watt digital amplifier.

Now you can send all that music on your tablet, smartphone or computer to your favourite old speakers (or new passive ones).

Do you still have those old speakers lying around that you would not part from for nostalgic or other reasons? Maybe you still have a room where you would like to use them, but you have no amplifier there yet. As of today, you can make your old speakers up to date again, by using 1 small box to magically transform them into active Bluetooth speakers. This allows you to listen to music or Internet radio from your smartphone on your old speakers. This little box is called the Marmitek BoomBoom 430. Large speakers for the study, outside speakers, or small built-in speakers for the kitchen, bathroom or bedroom, the BoomBoom 430 fits every situation.

The Marmitek BoomBoom 430 is available now for around £75

I’ve enjoyed the chargeable The Vamp – a Kickstarter project that has breathed new life into my old hifi speakers … small enough to pop in a backpack to venues that need oomph but where external power is not guaranteed!

Something that I am interested to try out. Looks like a very cleaver idea.
