Marware EcoVue Case for iPad – Mini Review

We’ve had a lot of people ask about the Marware EcoVue iPad case since mentioning on Twitter we had one on order.  We originally saw the EcoVue winning the round up of iPad cases on the Daily Giz Wiz show – see the video below – and ordered one from Amazon.  Even thought the Amazon delivery date still says ‘1-3 months’ ours was despatched just 9 days after we ordered it.  Checkout some quick photos and our initial impressions after the jump…

[googlead]The EcoVue has some features that really sold it to us. Firstly it’s subtle design, no Apple logo screaming ‘steal me!’. It has a understated classy look and the leather feels great.  It’s nice and secure with the elastic strap there to hold the case open or closed.

The little pop-out stand at the back creates a perfect angle for typing (the iPad is incredibly easy to type fast on – especially if you are a seasoned iPhone user). The stand is held closed when not in use with magnets – and who doesn’t love a product that uses magnets!

The interior is very soft and wont damage your slab of joy.  An elasticated vertical hand strap on the rear allows you to hold the device with one hand. The case is firm and lightly padded – offering good protection for the iPad.
