New HeatSave Wireless Retro Fit Radiator Valves

Here’s a new retro-fit wireless TRV system from Heat-Save. Swap your existing radiator valves for these battery powered motorised versions then schedule and control your heating from your Windows computer via the USB RF Dongle. The valves don’t require your PC to be on 24/7 as they hold a 7 day pattern plus holidays up to 4 years in the future (Mac and Linux support is planned). The batteries in the valves should last around 2 years before needing to be replaced with heating on 365 days of the year (obviously more with a summer shutdown). Check out the video below.

I couldn’t find the price on their website, but some other PR says it’s ₤69 per valve
Will this integrate with Homeseer?
There’s no mention of price or when these will be available
When we wrote this piece the item was available at £69 (as the comment above says). Looks like they’ve since removed the prices for some reason. I’ve asked HeatSave to reply about this in these comments.
UPDATE – they just replied. Items are all now priced and shopping cart is available, although valves are now £99.95.

“Will this integrate with Homeseer?”
The valves operate on the ZigBee HA profile and accept some standard commands. Although advanced features use our bespoke commands and software, other ZigBee based co-ordinators would be able to control them at a basic level.

Why is it so hard for a company to come up with a decent offering in this space ? I can’t believe that someone has justbbought a product to market that requires a proprietary USB, clearly ruling out tablet and smartphone support.
I believe that lightwave are bringing out their version which will work on their app.
Any plans to have boiler interlock?
Can you control the valves with ex. RaspberryPI or similar? And if so does each valve has a diffrent rf id?
Thanks to produce that kind of radiator valves its smart to control home heating system. I wonder how much will it cost.
HouseTech Solutions have a boiler interlock and individual room control where there system measures temperature away from radiators which is much better. The system is easy to set up and display is very clear. I have had this in my home and business for 3 years and it is excellent. The products here measure temperature next to the radiator.
The Prices on the company website seem to disappear? They appear to be the same casing as Chalmor (who also don’t supply prices as want to sell in bulk to organisations – schools / offices etc), for home market / off the shelf purchases they look similar casing again to Energenie (however they use 433 Mhz RF) which can be purchased directly from them, Amazon, other Electrical suppliers.
