Philips £7 Motion Controlled LED Light and Other Innovations

Philips continue to innovate with their LED lighting range. Here are three of their most interesting recent creations – the ultra-affordable £7 motion sensing battery powered stick anywhere LED, the RGB colour mood light with RF remote and the rechargable LED "candle" lights.

Philips Lighting Spot On (£6.99) This small and portable light is perfect for lighting dark areas such as a closet, kitchen cupboard or a garage. Furthermore, installation of SpotOn couldn't be easier, just stick it onto the desired location. SpotOn differentiates itself due to the fact that it is motion sensitive, there is therefore no need to switch SpotOn on it will automatically light up when it detects movement. SpotOn is battery operated (batteries included) and incorporates LED technology, therefore it lasts longer and emits a bright white light. Philips LivingColors (£96.43) The livingColors lamp contains 4 light emitting diodes (LEDs). Two are red, one is blue and one is green. Each one can be increased, reduced, brightened or dimmed to product a total of 16 million different color combinations. The handy remote control allows you to switch the LivingColors lamp on and off, dim or change the color effect from elsewhere in the room. The remote control works on a radio frequency (not an infrared beam). This means you don’t need to point it directly at the lamp to charge the color effect. Philips Imageo LED Rechargeable Candle Lights (£19.97) Here's one to keep the Mrs happy too. The Philip’s IMAGEO LED Lamp comes with a set of three LED candlelights powered by rechargeable batteries.
