“Is there a more comprehensive program for automation than PICS from SausageSystems? It’s got CCTV, Audio, Video, IR Remote Control, Lighting Control (iLight and DMX) and it physically operates any appliance the user wants, from an LED to a 4-tonne car lift. Oh, and you can operate your home from wall mounted touchscreens, PC, PDA or mobile phone. Desite all the functionality, no-one has yet needed to be instructed on how to use the system, as it’s so intuitive and simple.
It’s been custom made for use in a £32m house in Chelsea, but is being put into another three houses in London.”
