I've had a question from an EvoControl user regarding the Smart Weather Settings in Evohome. Resideo does not expose via the API when any of these is either enabled or active. Therefore, while you'll see the special icons on the tiles on your panel from time to time, the TCC app and the TCC web portal just show the applied setpoint without any icon:

<img itemprop="image" title="IMG_20261004_181111.jpg" data-attachmentid="87353" width="305" height="305" data-align="none" border="0" src="filedata/fetch?id=87353&d=1791298427&type=thumb" alt="Click image for larger version

I was thinking that it could be possible to deduce at least 2 of them from the reported API statuses:

WarmWeatherSaver seems to apply when the setpoint matches the HeatingOff setpoint and does not match the current scheduled setpoint for the zone, while the zone's mode is reported as FollowSchedule.

ColdWeatherBoost seems to apply when the zone's mode is FollowSchedule but its actual setpoint is higher than what the schedule calls for.

Here's a screenshot of what WarmWeatherSaver might look like in the PWA:

<img itemprop="image" title="Screenshot 2026-10-05 191558.png" data-attachmentid="87352" data-align="none" data-size="full" border="0" src="filedata/fetch?id=87352&d=1791298312&type=thumb" alt="Click image for larger version
While it's still guesswork, does anybody see any issues with those assumptions? Any ideas how to detect when the Sunny Rooms feature is currently active in a zone?

If I were to put this pseudo-detection into EvoControl then it would be behind a slider to disable it if it's deemed inappropriate to guess

Now., i have replace the batteries [ with Duracell optimum] . I can see the rotation symbol on the display but no movement to change the valve position.

Is this the system error or the HR92 are stuck ?

This happening with 3/5 zones in the system.

Evohome: Hot Water increased in temperature

Some years ago, I upgraded my EvoHome by adding 'Hot Water' controller... I have had it set to 50 degrees, heating for 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in evening and its never failed.. The stored water is always around 50 and very stable.

This week I thought the water felt hot and when I checked Evohome shows the temperature as 62. So it knows its 62 and its clearly is firing the boiler to keep it hot.. But why is it not stopping when it hits 50?

I have checked the settings and it still set to 50 degrees, so I am going to have to do some experiments.. But has anyone got any thoughts of how or why this is happening?

I left the old stat in place incase the Evohome ever failed me, so I wonder if it stopping because its hit the limit of the mechanical stat?
