Nope. Removed skill and reinstalled/linked.. but whilst it says that its learned my zones and set my schedule as Schedule A, the UI is blank. I just get an empty page with icons at the bottom with no zones shown.

That sounds like a firmware issue on the Echo. It was a refurbished one, right? Make sure it has the latest firmware. In device settings you can update.

Yep… 2nd hand, but fully up to date with the latest FW. The ONLY issue i have is that my ISP seems to block the necessary Accuweather query for the Smart Features to work. Other than that its working as expected.

Edit. Ohhh You mean FW on Echo… thanks brand new. Delivered today. Will check for an update now.

Edit2: Standby.. There a new update.. Doing it now.

Edit3: Update done.. Now the UI looks as I expected.. Got a new problem now.... It won't recognise any commands, as its confusing them with other "smart" commands with similar names. For example I have 2 Smart Plugs in my "TV Room" as well as the Echo itself (called "TV Room")... My Evohome zone is also called "TV Room".. Every command I try, says that its not supported...

I suspect I am just using the wrong syntax.. I will regroup and have another play tomorrow.

Evocontrol was certainly “active”. But i have just tried to launch it and am given an error saying “TCC Token-refresh declaired a 400 invalid grant failure”.

Doesnt sound good.. should i unlink, remove and start again?

Going to leave it till tomorrow now.. Run out of time for today.. let me know if you find anything.. If not, i will get to work ripping it all out and starting again when I got home from work tomorrow night..

Its not by any means urgent.. I managed to set one zone to a new temperature before the problem started so I have already had a taste as to whats possible... Cheers.

Just make sure this is the button you use to re-do the TCC auth flow. No need to unlink/re-link the skill.

Will do this tonight.. Odd that I already did it a 2nd time.. I initially installed and linked, but as I had the problem with the blank screen I unlinked/removed and started again.. I then re-linked everything and Re-Auth'd and after updating the Echo Firmware it was working.. But somehow its got into this state requiring another Re-Auth.

I will do it as soon as I get home and monitor this.

I am getting a 'FYI Domoticz conectivity is disable'

and I can't work out how to re enable it. The dashboard has a tick, and clicking modify, and verify tells me 'Domoticz responded and indicated the presence of a HGI-80'

I'm sure I have been told this before, but I cant seem to find it again in a search.

Is there something you can say on a standard Echo to do this?

No. It's supposed to be something you only ever do once. Put your Letsencrypt cert on auto-renew and you'll never have to do this again.

My lets encript certificate is on Auto Renewal, just that it sticks them in the wrong place. I could setup a crontab though, just have to try and get the timing right.

luckily I have a show, just not in this room, but if I didn't could I get around it by disabling the skill and then re-enabling and linking etc?

I'm pretty sure that there's a hook script you can have certbot run when you do the auto-renewal and you can do your magic in that script. The certbot docs will reveal all.

Yes, if you did a full unlink/re-link, the default starting state of the enableHGI parameter is true unless manually over-ridden or automatically disabled due to comms fault.

EDIT: Just remember, you'd lose your scenes/groups and saved [BC] schedules if you did that
