Evohome system completely rebooted by itself

Late last night, I heard the boiler fire, which was unusual. Especially as the heating and hot water have been turned off. Looked at the controller and every zone including the hot water had lost communications and had the hour glass sign.
    I didn't touch anything.

Things are back to normal today but my Fault Log is gone!, which means its been cleared by whatever happened.
I thought maybe a new firmware but am still on 02.01.02.01 so no idea what happened there.

Sounds like it lost power for a while and somehow got it back again. Might be a PCB trace break.

My house has a back up battery, so no power cut. Also the controller battery should have kept things going. The strangest of all is the complete absence of a Faults Log on the controller.

Now something else strange happened today. Had a fault displayed for one of my DT wall sensors. Went to it and the screen was blank. So assumed the batteries died. However there has been no low battery warning for this sensor. Replaced the batteries and it came back to life. Tested the old batteries and they were full! So no idea why the sensor just suddenly decided to shut down.

I’ve seen and reported a similar situation before. DT92s can enter a state, with a blank display, where they block all communication. Your system will then enter fail-safe mode.
I think I may have seen this issue mentioned before. Today all of the zones on one of my controllers and some of the zones on my second controller stopped responding, displaying hourglasses. At first I thought it might have been some strange atmospheric condition due to the storm, or some other interfering device. I
