With the demise of the Met Office Datapoint services you might be interested in an alternative source for generating weather reports. Whilst the Datapoint service was particularly useful for its descriptive forecast output, for some reason this particular feature has not been carried over into their new alternative. In any case, in searching around for others we came across WeatherAPI. As with most such services the free tier has some limitations but good enough and certainly provides a wealth of data signals which you might utilise beyond just creating a weather report. A document has been created which will help guide the process of accessing this data via the Cortex Web API client and how to pipe this to through for example to spoken output, or DFP or noticeboard displays. You can find this here: https://www.idratek.com/public/docs/...WeatherAPI.pdf
