(The module tested is the US unit, this operates on frequencies that are not allowed to be used for this purpose in the UK. When using the module for testing purposes I’ve experienced no problems….YMMV).
The unit is a small four button wall mounting device. It takes four AAA batteries. It is supplied with velcro (which is how I mount them) or some screws. Inside are the setup switches. The house code selector. Along side is a switch for the code selection. You have a choice of 1-4 (each switch respectivily) or 5-8.
The range is about 3 meters, this will change depending on what house building materials are inbetween you and the receiver. I’ve had about 4-5 metres reliably – YMMV. I use the (TM751) receiver. The unit sends ON, OFF codes for each rocker switch.
